RWN Board Event – Fireside Chat with Laura Ross

The Regina Women’s Network proudly presents a Fireside Chat with RWN Alumni

The Honourable Laura Ross, MLA Regina Rochdale, Minister of Parks, Culture and Sport
Minister Responsible for the Status of Women

Laura was instrumental in the development of Regina's first Habitat for Humanity Women's Build project in 2011, and she sat on a committee to spearhead the Habitat for Humanity Mountie House. Laura also partners with the Honourable Christine Tell, Minister of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety to host and present Self Esteem Workshops for young girls and their mentors. Laura’s mantra “when women thrive, everyone thrives”.

For more than twenty years Laura was a licensed realtor in Regina specializing in residential properties. Prior to her success as a realtor, she operated her own catering company and farmed with her husband Terry. Laura is a founding member in the Saskatchewan chapter of Equal Voice and serves as a role model and mentor to young women interested in professional and political lives. She currently resides in Regina with her husband Terry. They have one son.

Come join RWN for this very special evening to hear Laura lean-in and share her amazing journey as a trailblazer whose mission is breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for women in Saskatchewan.
